Church can seem complicated, yet Jesus never intended it to be. He came with a very simple message, this he described as The Good News. So what is this Good News?
Well, God really does love us. He has a unique plan for our lives and His desire is to have a close relationship with us.
Unfortunately like a default setting on a computer, we automatically say, think and do wrong things that break God’s laws. This is called sin – which separates us from a Holy God who wants us to be his children - and to be our Father. This is where the Good News kicks in - He sent his son Jesus to put things right. Jesus, being God was perfect and as such, was able to offer his life on the cross to pay for all we’ve done wrong in one hit. After three days, Jesus rose from the dead and finally took his place in heaven again.
But, we have to make a decision to ask for forgiveness and turn away from doing our own thing. This puts our relationship with him right, but God does want us to allow him to help us live according to his ways.
But don’t worry handing over our lives to him is a smart move, as he knows us better than anyone and loves us like a perfect father.
As a church we regularly run courses to help people who want to know more about the Christian faith. They cover the basics of Christianity in a relaxed and informal way with plenty of opportunity to discuss different topics and ask questions.

It’s all about learning and growing together and anyone is welcome to join us to explore what Christianity is all about. Courses last about 6 weeks and have even lasted longer because people were enjoying them so much!
